INFORMATION AND FACILITIES

  • Access:

    Access to the property is via electric gates. These will be open on arrival.

    Unaccompanied check-in is possible by use of an external key safe by prior arrangement

    Unaccompanied checkout by prior arrangement.

    Two sets of keys are provided, each consisting of:

    Gate Remote / Front Door / Kitchen Door

    Keys are in other doors within the house as necessary and should be left as they were when departing

  • Garden:

    With the electric gates closed, both the front and back gardens should be dog/childproof

    Access to the "back garden" is through the gates at each end of the house, or from TV Room and Conservatory

    Please make sure all garden areas are clear of dog waste on departure

    Table and chairs are provided on an outside paved terrace

    A BBQ and charcoal can be supplied by prior agreement

  • Dogs/Pets:

    Two well-behaved dogs are welcomed.

    Inside the house, they should be restricted to the TV Room and Utility/Rear Lobby

    Dogs should not be allowed to climb on furniture

    The TV Room exterior door allows access to the dog-proof "back garden"

    Please make sure that you clear up after your dogs, putting any waste in the green bin

    A "Poop-a-Scoop" is provided

    Dogs should not be allowed upstairs or in any bedroom.

  • heating:

    The property has LPG powered central heating which will be set appropriately on arrival

    Control is by room thermostat outside the family bathroom

    The Conservatory has airconditioning for heating/cooling operated by remote controls

    Please make sure the doors and windows are all closed if heating or cooling

  • Wood Burner:

    There is a very effective wood burning stove in the Sitting Room

    Logs, Kindling, and firelighters are supplied

    Spare logs, kindling, and a carrier are stored in the exterior chest outside the rear of the Garden Bedroom.

    There is a metal bucket for ash if required. Do not put ash in the green bin until PROPERLY COOLED.

    Beware:
    Logs must not be allowed to rest against the glass doors of the Woodburner

    The doors can get VERY HOT. A gauntlet and door opening tool is provided to prevent burns

  • Cooking:

    There is a five-Hob gas range with three electric ovens and a warming drawer

    In addition:

    Microwave

    Electric Toaster

    Electric Kettle

    Food processor

  • Hot Water:

    The hot water is boiler controlled and set to heat morning and evening.

    There is an immersion heater switch in the Utility Room if additional hot water is required

  • Baths:

    The two baths both have Jacuzzi capabilities.

    Children should be monitored

    Caution must be exercised if using bubble bath!

  • Echo Dots:

    There are Echo Dots in all rooms.

    These can be operated by using the "Alexa" Commands and can provide music, intercom and more.

  • Tennis Court:

    Use of the all-weather "AstroTurf" tennis court can be available by prior arrangement.

    Access is via the wrought iron gates opposite the conservatory exterior doors.

    Guests should provide their own racquets and balls.

    The tennis court should not be used for other sports.

  • Television

    The TV Room has a 60" Smart TV

  • WiFi:

    There is wi-fi throughout the property

    There are three Fire extinguishers located:

    Outside Family bathroom

    Upstairs Landing

    There is a Fire Blanket wall mounted to the left of the Kitchen Range

  • Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms:

    These are provided throughout the property.

  • First Aid KIT

    There is a First Aid Kit wall mounted to the left of the Kitchen Range

  • Catering

    We are able to recommend a variety of caterers, whatever the occasion.

  • Infants

    A travel cot and high chair are available. Please bring your own cot bedding
